We're growing rapidly and are seeking Lead Software Engineers at multiple levels of experience - from experienced to highly experienced professionals - to build and maintain our Data Stream service, delivering scalable data APIs that enable customers to access and integrate their talent acquisition data.
You'll lead a team of software engineers, provide technical direction, and drive the delivery of production-grade data APIs. You'll collaborate with data engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure our data products are reliable, performant, and meet customer needs in a culture that values innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
This is a hybrid position based in Hyderabad, India.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance management
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable REST APIs and data services using Java and Spring Boot
Work with architects to ensure technical solutions align with platform strategy and architectural standards
Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data pipelines integrate seamlessly with API services
Work with AWS services including Redshift, ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc. to deliver cloud-native solutions
Optimise API performance and address customer-reported issues
Drive improvements in engineering practices, development workflows, and code quality
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with QA teams to maintain quality standards
Partner with customer success teams to understand integration requirements and provide technical guidance
Manage team performance reviews, resource allocation, and development priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field(or equivalent professionalexperience)
7+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
Experience building and maintaining REST APIs at scale
Experience with AWS cloud platforms and services (e.g., Redshift, ECS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
Demonstrated experience in leading software engineering teams, including performance management and mentoring
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with intellectual curiosity
Strong communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical teams
Experience with data products, data APIs, or data integration services preferred
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other technical degree and 5 years of software engineering experience or 3 years of experience developing recruiting software. - Bachelor's degree* in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other technical degree and 5 years of experience developing recruiting software or 7 years of software engineering experience. - In lieu of bachelor's or technical degree, we will accept 2 additional years of software engineering experience.
