Job Title: Java Developer AI-Assisted Spec Driven Development
Location: New York, NY / Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Job Description Seeking experienced Java Developers with strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience in Spec Driven Development using modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Windsurf.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality enterprise applications while leveraging AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
Required Skills
- Java development experience
- Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration
- Hands-on experience with Spec Driven Development methodologies
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Windsurf, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in financial services or banking domain
- Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices
Responsibilities
