Summary

Role: Senior Salesforce Developer
Rate: $62/hour W2
Schedule: Remote | EST Hours

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our application development team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Salesforce solutions while serving as a technical leader for the development team. The ideal candidate will possess deep Salesforce development expertise, strong integration experience, and the ability to gather requirements, drive architecture decisions, and mentor other developers. This is a senior-level role requiring both hands-on development and technical leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support custom Salesforce applications and enhancements.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Drive architecture and design decisions across Salesforce development initiatives.
  • Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST APIs and other integration methods.
  • Develop, test, debug, package, and deploy Salesforce functionality following established SDLC processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and Governor Limits.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment plans, and support procedures.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to development team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and integration issues.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
  • Support development, QA, staging, and production deployment cycles.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers while providing technical leadership across projects.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong experience with Apex development, classes, triggers, and custom programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Lightning Experience and Lightning UI development.
  • Proficiency with Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud functionality and platform capabilities.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating Salesforce with external systems.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits and platform performance optimization.
  • Experience working within formal QA and test-driven development environments.
  • Experience supporting development, testing, staging, and production deployment cycles.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce declarative development, including Flows, Validation Rules, Assignment Rules, Change Sets, Process Builder, Reports, and Developer Console.
  • Experience with synchronous and asynchronous integrations, batch processing, and real-time integrations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and C# development.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer or related Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience leading development teams or serving as a technical lead.
  • Experience making architecture and solution design decisions.
  • Experience mentoring developers and providing technical oversight.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application integration patterns and best practices.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise Salesforce environments.
