IT Asset Manager

**MUST reside in Michigan already as this role is hybrid in Grand Rapids, MI**
Job Description
Our client is looking for an IT Asset Manager to join their team and help them with their continued build out of their Asset Management processes. Currently only laptops and peripherals are being tracked in ServiceNow ITAM, and the goal is to get all hardware tracked in ITAM and find opportunities to automate some of the current processes. They will be involved in PO processing, helping manage the change process for integrations with their invoicing platform, automating refresh projects, reporting, and continuing to expand and improve their Asset Management process. The right candidate will have experience in IT Asset Management, specifically in understanding best practices, and finding ways to improve current processes. If someone has ServiceNow ITAM experience that would be ideal, and their perspective on how to best take advantage of the module would be extremely valuable.
The right candidate will also be eager to learn and willing to take ownership of the responsibility. They will work closely with their manager who can guide them in the right direction, but they will need to run with this initiative fairly independently. They will welcome ideas for ways to implement approved AI efficiencies as well; they currently have Gemini in their environment that can be utilized.

There are field technicians that will be working with the physical devices so this person won't be manually scanning things in, but will have to collaborate closely with those field techs to ensure things are handled properly. Strong communication and cooperation skills will be very important for that element of the role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
