Role: PeopleSoft COBOL Developer (Contract)
Duration: 3-6 Months
Location: 100% Remote (PST Hours Required)
Environment: HCM 9.2 (Image 53), Tools 8.61, Oracle on AIX
Overview: We are seeking a specialist to customize and maintain North American Payroll COBOL processes (PSPPYRUN/PSCPYRUN) for a public sector client. You will focus on high-performance calculation logic, modifying standard modules to handle unique union rules and complex tax formulas.
Core Requirements:
Expert COBOL Skills: Hands-on experience customizing PeopleSoft Payroll COBOL (PSPPYRUN).
Technical Stack: Proficiency with Micro Focus COBOL on AIX/Unix (compiling/linking via pscbl.sh).
Stored SQL: Ability to manage .dms files and the PTPSQLRT interface.
Debugging: Expert at resolving Remote Agent Errors and running SQL Traces (7/127).
Modern Tools: Familiarity with HCM Image 53 and Fluid Payroll
