IT Manager/Director

Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager/Director to oversee and enhance IT operations within a non-profit organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position requires a proactive leader who can manage systems, support infrastructure, and ensure the security and efficiency of technology solutions. This is a long-term contract opportunity for someone who is detail oriented and looking to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Active Directory systems to ensure seamless authentication and directory services.
Implement and oversee backup solutions to safeguard data integrity and recovery processes.
Administer and troubleshoot Cisco technologies to optimize network performance and connectivity.
Evaluate, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware to align with organizational needs.
Develop and enforce configuration management practices to ensure consistency across IT systems.
Collaborate with teams to identify and address technology needs within the organization.
Monitor IT infrastructure and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols to protect organizational data.
Provide guidance and training to staff on best practices and new systems.
Stay updated with emerging IT trends to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management or a related role.
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory systems.
Strong knowledge of backup technologies and data recovery methods.
Expertise in Cisco technologies, including networking and security solutions.
Solid understanding of computer hardware and system upgrades.
Familiarity with configuration management principles and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.
