Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Enterprise Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale network infrastructure solutions. This role is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and highly available network architectures across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Strategy

Lead the architectural design of secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions
Develop network design alternatives including cloud connectivity, VPCs, segmentation, routing, and load balancing
Collaborate with cloud architects and security teams to align network strategy with enterprise standards

Solution Design & Engineering

Design and implement enterprise network architectures across hybrid and cloud environments
Configure and optimize networking components to meet performance and availability requirements
Ensure alignment with enterprise security policies and standards

Security & Compliance

Design and implement network security controls and frameworks
Ensure compliance with state and regulatory requirements for sensitive data
Apply best practices for secure network design in cloud and hybrid environments

Operations & Optimization

Support performance monitoring and optimization of network infrastructure
Identify and resolve network bottlenecks and reliability issues
Ensure high availability and fault-tolerant network design

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Lead architecture reviews and present designs to stakeholders
Participate in executive and project governance meetings

Documentation

Produce and maintain high-quality network architecture documentation
Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise standards and project requirements

Required Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture roles, including 5+ years in enterprise-level design
3+ years of experience as lead architect in at least two major public cloud environments
Experience leading at least 3 large-scale network architecture projects
4+ years of experience in network security and compliance
3+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
Expert-level cloud networking certification
Strong documentation skills (work samples required)
Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
