This posting supports the Automated Vehicle Location Global Positioning System and Road Weather Decision Support System projects.
The candidate in this role will be working on RFP-related projects and should have a strong background in RFP projects and processes.

Position Description This position provides oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions for large strategic projects and programs with high visibility at the executive level.
These projects and programs require a fully dedicated Project Manager due to their complexity, intricate details, and accountability to executive leadership. Strategic projects typically involve a large and diverse group of stakeholders, vendor participation, coordination of multiple complex schedules, and significant integration with other systems.
Strategic projects may have durations of two years or longer, involve 50 or more team members, require executive-level communication, and carry significant project risk.
The Project Manager will ensure consistency with the established SUITE Project Management Methodology, perform long-term release planning based on organizational direction, regularly monitor project budget, quality, and schedule, escalate issues and risks as needed, and perform project quality control activities to ensure project scope expectations are met.
Job Responsibilities - Manage direct engagement with stakeholders and vendors.
- Dedicate approximately 15 20% of time to executive-level communication, including high-level project oversight, stakeholder alignment, and leading monthly sponsor meetings to provide project health updates.
- Establish and monitor project control methods to ensure timely awareness of changes to project cost, quality, or schedule.
- Provide planning, staffing, and reporting to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects according to sponsor goals and objectives.
- Ensure planning, staffing, and reporting follow the established SUITE Project Management Methodology and project prioritization process.
- Manage project activities throughout the complete project lifecycle, from initiation through closeout.
- Direct and coordinate day-to-day activities, tasks, and deliverables required from the project team according to the project plan.
- Perform additional functions as needed to support overall project objectives.
