SAP Finance Domain Expert

Onshore • Finance 360 • SAP S/4 & PeopleSoft Financials

Job Description

We are seeking a SAP Finance Domain Expert to own Finance business requirements for all

Finance 360 data products on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will define

Chart of Accounts mapping between PeopleSoft and SAP S/4, validate source field mappings to

the canonical Finance model, specify deduplication and precedence rules across the SAP /

PeopleSoft coexistence and cutover, and review and approve data-quality rules, financial

reconciliation outputs, and UAT sign-off. This role combines deep ERP finance functional

knowledge with strong hands-on BigQuery and SQL skills.

Responsibilities

·         Own Finance business requirements for all Finance 360 data products: GL, AP, AR,

·         treasury, fixed assets, and financial planning.

·         Define Chart of Accounts mapping between PeopleSoft (PS) and SAP S/4, including

·         combo edit rules and profit-centre and cost-centre hierarchies.

·         Validate field mapping from PS Financials (JOURNAL_ID, ACCOUNT) and SAP FI

·         (BKPF, BSEG, FAGLFLEXT) to the canonical Finance model.

·         Specify deduplication and precedence rules for journal lines during the SAP / PS

·         coexistence period and post-cutover.

·         Review and approve DQ rules, financial reconciliation outputs (Trial Balance, BvA,

·         Intercompany Balancing), and UAT sign-off.

Required Skills

·         Deep expertise in PeopleSoft Financials (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management) and SAP FI /

·         CO module structures and posting logic.

·         Knowledge of TM1 cube structures and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning model

·         definitions for OPEX, CAPEX, and workforce planning.

·         Understanding of financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency

·         reconciliation requirements.

·         Ability to define and validate data contracts for mandatory fields, valid code sets, and

·         SLA requirements for financial data products.

·         Experience supporting finance system migrations, parallel-run periods, and regulatory

·         reporting sign-off processes.

·         Strong expertise in BigQuery and SQL, with skills in data modeling, performance

·         analysis, and KPI reporting.

·         10+ years in SAP FI / CO or PeopleSoft Financials functional or finance data roles within

·         enterprise ERP environments.

·         Preferred Qualifications

·         SAP FI / CO certification or an equivalent PeopleSoft Financials credential.

·         Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and TM1 planning migrations.

·         Experience with Google Cloud Platform data platforms and BI tooling such as Looker Studio; prior data

·         lake / DaaP delivery exposure.
