Role: Python Backend Engineer with Microservices, AI/ML

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in API development, microservices architecture, cloud technologies (AWS), and AI/ML frameworks. The ideal candidate will work on designing and implementing scalable solutions for the healthcare domain, leveraging modern tools and practices such as AI Tools, Docker, and GitHub for version control.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Develop Microservices: Build and maintain scalable microservices using Python and modern frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• API Development & Integration: Create RESTful and GraphQL APIs for secure and efficient data exchange.
• Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services like EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and API Gateway.
• Database Management: Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases for healthcare data.
• AI/ML Solutions: Implement machine learning models and integrate AI tools for predictive analytics and automation.
• Healthcare Domain Expertise: Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
• CI/CD & Version Control: Use GitHub for code management and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerization: Develop and deploy applications using Docker and orchestration tools (Kubernetes preferred).
• Agile Practices: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and iterative development cycles.

Required Skills

• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python.
• Frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, Django.
• Microservices Architecture: Hands-on experience in designing distributed systems.
• Cloud: AWS services (EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway).
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL.

Nice to have :

• AI/ML: Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and AI tools
• DevOps: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions.
• Agile Methodology: Scrum or Kanban experience.
• Healthcare Standards: Knowledge of HIPAA, HL7, FHIR.
