Accelerate the success of MathWorks software development organization, just like MathWorks accelerates engineering and science across the world!

You will work with an internal community of development teams in our quest to create great products. Partnering with senior leadership, you'll lead initiatives as groups adopt Gen AI tools and workflows, new technical standards and best practices, and expand their knowledge of our codebase.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of software development concepts, practices, and tools used at MathWorks and within the industry.
  • Lead organizational adoption of new content, technologies, Gen AI tools and workflows, processes, and standards through thoughtful change management strategies.
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify issues and opportunities related to software development standards. Develop clear, well-scoped problem statements and drive related projects to completion.
  • Identify and collect metrics and KPIs for adoption, success, and progress against business drivers. Analyze and report to stakeholders, business partners, and senior management.
  • Find creative ways to support staff member growth and learning, such as producing self-serve resources and instructor-led training events.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • BA or MA, ideally in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in a software development organization.
  • Experience in software development life cycle.
  • Exceptional communication skills including clear and concise writing, an engaging presentation style and strong group facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and roles to get results and build strong relationships.
