Description: Our client is currently seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer 3

Work Location: Berkeley, MO

Shifts: 1st shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Need an active secret clearance required to start

These Capability Centers support the following programs:

- F-47 - the next generation fighter for the Air Force

- T-7A - the next generation trainer for the Air Force

- F/A-18, EA-18G, F-15, F-22 - production tactical fighter aircraft ongoing major upgrades

- Several programs within the Phantom Works organization

- MQ-25 - Autonomous Carrier Landing Vehicles for the Navy

* Engineering Capability Centers - specialized engineering for Platform Cybersecurity, Product Security, Flight Simulation, Radar Development, and Advanced Mission Systems

- Precision Engagement Systems (PES) including Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and associated derivatives) and Cruise Missiles (SLAM ER, Harpoon and development weapons)

- Boeing Global Services including Support Equipment, Government Training Engineering, and US Air Force Programs Modification, Sustainment, and Product Support

- Boeing Test and Evaluation

- Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

- Understand and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts

- Develop, document and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirements

- Develop statement-of-work and technical performance specifications

- Analyze, translate and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle

- Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

- Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies

- Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements and for potential application to company business need

- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements

- Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements

- Design hardware, software and interface specifications

- Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

- This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

- Currently reside in OR willing to relocate at own expense to the St. Louis, Missouri region.

- 5-9 years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

- Experience in the Aerospace Industry

- Experience using good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environment

- Experience within a design/build or test team

- Experience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processes

- Experience with electronic/electrical system designs or test based on requirements

- Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture
