Role: Senior Appian Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Need 10+ Years experience

Must have:

• 10+ - Appian Engineer position plays a key role in the development of MBM s platform.
• Appian Center-of-Excellence documentation.
• Experience with numerous design patterns.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to identify and refine business innovations and new concepts.
• Work closely with internal teams to define new enterprise platform capabilities and business workflows.
• Analyze, design, implement, and configure application requirements using Appian platform components.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging Appian technologies and features.
• Develop robust, reusable, scalable, and reliable Appian components.
• Ensure system assets comply with access control, security, and compliance standards.
• Contribute ideas to enhance and extend platform capabilities.
• Own and maintain Appian Center of Excellence (CoE) documentation including:
• Best practices
• Standards & guidelines
• Procedures
• Mentor and support team members by sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Continuously improve team processes and collaboration effectiveness.
• Participate in cross-functional development efforts to ensure platform integration across products and services.
• Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Ensure unit testing meets defined test plans and system testing is completed successfully.
• Support release lifecycle activities including environment promotion and configuration.
• Coordinate on-call support and ensure effective system monitoring.
• Maintain development environments.
• Facilitate requirement clarification sessions, design workshops, code reviews, and troubleshooting discussions.
• Support vendor evaluation processes.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent technical institute training.
• Strong understanding of end-user application development best practices.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Appian Designer OR Equivalent experience with other low-code platforms or web development technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns.

In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $40-50.00/hr.. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
