Business Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Institutional Brokerage Analysis
Conduct in-depth analysis of securities trade processing including data mapping and ETL development.
2. Reporting and Visualization
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to present trade analysis in Power BI
Use data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
4. Collaboration
Work closely with operations, technology, front office traders and other stakeholders to understand their data and analysis needs.
Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
5. Research and Insights
Conduct research to support strategic decision-making and market positioning.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and SQL. Willingness to learn other tools such as Snowflake.
Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze and interpret data.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in market data analysis. Willingness to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (PREFERRED):
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. (OPTIONAL)
1 year of experience in business analysis or a related role
