Key Responsibilities
• Integration Architecture & Design
o Define end-to-end integration architecture across ERP, fund accounting, finance applications, and analytics platforms.
Establish standard integration patterns (API-led, ETL/ELT, event-driven, file/SFTP) aligned to business needs and close-cycle timelines.
Produce architecture deliverables: HLD/LLD, interface specs, mapping documents, and operational runbooks.
• Data Mapping, Transformation & Financial Domain Alignment
o Lead data mapping and transformation for key processes (journal entries, allocations, cash activity, capital calls/distributions where applicable).
Drive data quality controls: validation rules, reconciliations, exception handling, and lineage.
• Technical Leadership & Delivery Governance
o Provide hands-on leadership to integration/data engineering teams using middleware/iPaaS/ETL tools (e.g., MS Fabric, ADF).
Define coding standards, CI/CD practices, environment strategy, and automated testing approaches.
• Security, Compliance & Observability (Finance-grade)
o Ensure secure integrations with encryption, secrets management, role-based access, and audit logging (SOX-aligned controls where required).
Implement monitoring, alerting, retries, and resilience patterns, support production triage and root cause analysis.
• Stakeholder Partnership
o Collaborate with Finance/Accounting/Fund Admin stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions.
Lead design workshops, technical reviews, and integration roadmap planning.
