Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Architect with strong Snowflake expertise to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will lead data architecture decisions, ensure best practices, and support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end data architecture on AWS
Architect and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions
Build scalable data pipelines using AWS services
Lead data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) for analytics and reporting
Implement ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS-native and third-party tools
Ensure data security, governance, quality, and performance optimization
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud data solutions
Support migration of on-prem or legacy systems to AWS + Snowflake

Required Skills

Strong experience as a Data Architect
Hands-on expertise with AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch)
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (architecture, performance tuning, optimization)
Experience with data modeling and warehouse design
Expertise in SQL and Snowflake SQL
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Glue, Airflow, Informatica, Talend, dbt, etc.)
Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures
Knowledge of data security, encryption, and access controls
