About the Role
As a Bus Driver,you?llprovide safe, reliable, and friendly transportation that helps residents stay active andmaintaintheir independence.You?llsupport their daily appointments, activities, and community outings, ensuring that each trip is smooth and enjoyable.
WhatWe?reLooking For
\t- Must be at least 25 years of age or older with avaliddriver\'s license,clean drivingrecord,andableto drivethe community shuttle bus safely.
\t- Able toworka part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible availability to meet the needs of the residents.
\t- Strong communicationskills and the ability to stay calm and helpful in a busy environment.
\t- Solid knowledge of the local area is needed to plan efficient routes.
\t- Ability to use navigation tools, including both electronic and paper maps.
Key Responsibilities
\t- Provide dependable transportationthat helps residents stay active, engaged, and independent.
\t- Assistresidents with mobility needsby safelyoperatingthe wheelchair lift and securing wheelchairs.
\t- Keep rides running on timeby managing transportation requests and reducingwaittimes.
\t- Maintain a well?kept, safe shuttle busthrough routine cleaning and scheduled inspections.
\t- Support the team during downtimeby taking on small maintenance or custodial tasks that keep the community running smoothly.
