Digital Product Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to shape and deliver exceptional digital experiences and outcomes. This role requires a strong focus on human-centered product management practices, ensuring features and experiences align with user needs and business goals. You will define product roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate closely with development teams to implement solutions that enhance the end-to-end buying and servicing process. Success in this role means driving measurable outcomes through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the digital product roadmap and go-to-market execution for assigned products.
- Optimize collaboration across multiple departments, including operations, compliance, technology, finance, and data.
- Conduct user and stakeholder research to inform product features and enhancements.
- Maintain a clear product vision focused on user experience and desired outcomes.
- Support prioritization frameworks and manage backlog refinement.
- Assist in developing marketing and training materials for digital products.
- Understand end-user workflows and buying experiences to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Research emerging market trends and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Improve speed to market through build, buy, or partnership strategies.
- Define measurable outcomes for customer satisfaction and business impact, and leverage analytics for decision-making.
- Balance roadmap priorities between new platform features and product implementation.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Digital Product Manager, preferably in insurance or a similar industry; experience with annuity products is a plus.
- Ability to synthesize complex internal needs while considering customer value and future growth.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of software development management tools.
- Proven ability to lead new initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Adaptability to change and emerging technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with customer success metrics and outcome-driven product management.
- Knowledge of digital platforms and user experience best practices.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
