About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced
Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale infrastructure initiatives from concept through delivery. This role is ideal for a driven project leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and has a proven ability to deliver high-impact technology projects on time and within budget.
You will partner closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of infrastructure projects that support business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability.
What You'll DoAs an Infrastructure Project Manager, you will own the full project lifecycle and apply industry-standard project management practices to ensure successful outcomes.
Project Leadership & Integration- Develop and maintain Project Charters and Project Management Plans
- Direct and manage project execution across multiple teams
- Monitor and control project work, timelines, and deliverables
- Manage integrated change control and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Successfully close projects and project phases with documented outcomes
Scope, Risk & Issue Management- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Define and control project scope to prevent scope creep
- Build and manage detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) using MS Project
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Proactively manage dependencies and escalation paths
Schedule & Cost Management- Define activities, dependencies, and milestones
- Estimate resource needs and activity durations
- Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules
- Estimate, manage, and control project budgets
- Track costs and ensure financial accountability
Resource & Team Management- Develop resource and staffing plans
- Coordinate and onboard project team members
- Motivate, guide, and manage cross-functional project teams
- Foster collaboration and accountability across technical and non-technical groups
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement- Identify project sponsors and key stakeholders
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans
- Lead project status meetings and executive readouts
- Provide clear, concise reporting on project progress, risks, and performance
- Manage stakeholder expectations with transparency and professionalism
Procurement & Vendor Management- Support procurement planning and vendor selection
- Coordinate and administer vendor engagements
- Ensure contract compliance and manage deliverables
- Close procurement activities effectively
What We're Looking ForRequired Skills & Experience- Proven experience managing infrastructure or IT projects end-to-end
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK-based practices preferred)
- Expertise in planning, execution, and implementation
- Demonstrated strength in communication, risk management, and stakeholder management
- Hands-on experience with MS Project or similar project management tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications- PMP or similar project management certification
- Experience working with distributed teams and external vendors
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure, data centers, networks, or cloud environments

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fountain Valley, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
