Director, Identity & Access Management (IAM)

We are seeking a Director of Identity & Access Management to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise IAM services across a complex, multi-platform technology environment. This role will own the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of identity, authentication, and access controls, while partnering closely with Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and compliant environment.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for people, platforms, and programs that protect enterprise systems and data.

What You ll Do

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and operations of IAM, including Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance, and Multi-Factor Authentication


• Own IAM strategy, policies, and controls in partnership with Information Security and Risk Management


• Drive integrations between IAM platforms and enterprise applications


• Oversee Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) environments, including delegated administration and group policies


• Manage IAM tools, vendors, licensing, and budgets


• Lead and develop a high-performing IAM team, including hiring, performance management, and skills development


• Provide executive-level reporting on IAM initiatives, risks, and roadmap progress


• Ensure high availability and operational excellence for mission-critical identity systems (24/7 on-call rotation)

What We re Looking For

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 6+ years in senior technical or lead roles


• 3+ years of people leadership and team management


• 8+ years working with Active Directory or enterprise identity platforms


• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, Entra ID, and Auth0


• Experience delivering enterprise-scale IAM implementations


• Ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable identity solutions


• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)


• Cloud identity experience (Azure or AWS) and certifications are a plus
