Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our team and lead enterprise architecture for a key client account. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise architecture frameworks, technical solution ownership, and cross-functional delivery, and a proven ability to drive solution design, create architecture artifacts, and close delivery gaps.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain architecture artifacts for the Maine account.
- Document current architecture processes for effective turnover.
- Serve as the point of contact for clarification on architecture artifacts.
- Act as the single Enterprise Architect authority on the project and own the technical solution.
- Scope, assign, and own architecture work across teams.
- Participate as a member of the Core DDI Project Team.
- Report and remain accountable to the Senior Manager and Engagement Leader.
- Drive the Enterprise Architecture framework and artifact creation.
- Develop relationships with cross-functional team leads and partner teams.
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Service Management, and Engineering to complete artifacts.
- Provide performance feedback to managers on shared resources.
- Engage with clients and represent the architecture function in discussions.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards and governance.
- Lead solutioning discussions and drive closure on gaps and decisions.
- Serve as the ultimate decision maker on project technology choices.
- Work with the Scrum Master to ensure accurate project status reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture methodologies and artifact development.
- Experience leading cross-functional delivery with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
- Ability to own technical solutions and make sound technology decisions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
- Experience level: 7+ years in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Background with healthcare or public sector programs, including DDI project environments.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and Scrum-based delivery.
