Role Summary
We're seeking an Oracle Cloud Applications Developer to build, support, and optimize Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and integrations that power finance, procurement, projects, and enterprise operations. Your work will connect critical business systems, strengthen data quality, and deliver reporting that leaders rely on for timely, informed decisions.
You'll design and deliver integrations in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), develop OTBI/BI Publisher reporting and analytics, and provide hands-on support for day to day operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the full development lifecycle requirements through deployment while partnering closely with functional and technical teams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & support integrations using OIC (REST/SOAP adapters, FBDI, file-based, real-time, and batch).
- Develop analytics & reports in OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse to enable finance and operational insights.
- Engineer data solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud ERP schema, SQL/PLSQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Design and document technical specs, user stories, and solution options; recommend the best-fit approach.
- Create and manage APIs/Web Services for cloud, on prem, and hybrid patterns; implement monitoring, error handling, and alerting.
- Support production operations: help desk tickets, end user assistance, upgrades, enhancements, and cross system integrations.
- Adhere to governance: security, change management, and application lifecycle policies across environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ERP, infrastructure, and data teams to maintain reliable, scalable operations.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years designing, developing, and testing software applications; 3+ years hands-on with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) in a SaaS environment.
- End-to-end OIC implementation experience (at least 1 full Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS project); strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, APIs, FBDI, PL/SQL.
- 3+ years integrating Oracle Cloud ERP (Financials, Procurement, Projects) with 3rdparty systems; familiarity with OCI, DBCS, and MFT.
- Proficiency with OTBI, BI Publisher, XSLT, mappings, lookups, connections, agents, packages, scheduling, deployment, and monitoring in OIC/ICS.
- Experience with SQL Server (Stored Procedures, SSIS) and web development (XML/HTML/CSS/JavaScript); exposure to C# .NET and ColdFusion is a plus.
- Bonus: Oracle PaaS, Oracle Data Integrator, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, SmartView, Financial Reporting Studio.
- Bachelor s in Computer Science or related field (or 5+ years of relevant software experience).
- Soft skills: proactive ownership, strong communication with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders, adaptability in a distributed/remote team, and a continuous learning mindset.
