SMT Operator :Load and assist withsetup and staging of product on the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines.

Job Summary - Perform setup and tear down on all feeders for all pick and place machines
- Cycle count all applicable components after each production run and notify stockroom of individual part count variance.
- Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines
- Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components
- Performs other duties and assignments as required
- Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
Required Skills and Qualifications - Ability to read and understand load plans
- Ability to read and understand production drawings
- Basic component identification skills
- Ability to build electronic assemblies
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft and Outlook programs (Excel, Word, Internet Explorer)
- Ability to communicate issues in an effective manner
- Ability to effectively communicate among all levels within the organization.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance with various tools including multimeter.
