job summary:
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 5-10 years' experience with architecting and designing complex electronic products/subsystems that includes RF & Microwave assemblies, precision analog circuitry, ADCs, DACs, power supplies etc. Understand various tradeoffs and risks involved and pick the best approach to meet the product requirements/specifications. In addition to designing the hardware, the job also includes participating in the entire product development process all the way from designing the product requirements to product launch and mass production of exciting next generation high value-added instruments, using state of the art technology.

responsibilities:
- Architecting and design of RF & Microwave assemblies, precision analog and mixed signal circuitry used in Probes and Acquisition systems of the next generations
- Create documentation required for product planning and architecting.
- Create schematic design and overviewing layout of complex high-frequency PCBs, ceramic and/or organic packages.
- Design test fixtures and automated test routines to support testing of prototypes
- Work within a team including Marketing, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing engineers, to bring idea into shippable products.
- Help supporting and reviewing changes to products throughout their life in operation.
- Responsible for the release of the engineering design package to the production configuration management system
qualifications:
Experience in RF and Microwave Circuit Design
Experience with RF specific tools such as Microwave Office, ADS, VSS, Genesys, Sonnet 3D Planar, HFSS & CST
Knowledge of PCB layout for RF & Microwave circuits
Advanced RF/Analog/Digital lab skills.
Experience with standard lab equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes
Excellent communication skills, ability to drive meetings, design reviews, and create content (drawings, slides, graphs) to explain complex systems or data.
Being able to train and mentor new engineers.
