Summary

Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months + Extension

Bill Rate: $79/hour

Job Type: W-2 Contract

Work Authorization: H-1B, OPT-EAD, GC-EAD, -EAD

Job Summary:

Optimization of SQL query, Analyzing execution plans.
Create and maintain database objects like Tables, Index, Sequence etc.
Monitoring Database using OEM. Tuning of Oracle objects.
Experience in Performance Tuning at Database and Application level.
Must have good troubleshooting skills.
Understanding Automatic Workload Repository (AWR), Oracle hints, Active Session History (ASH) reports is a must.
Strong knowledge of source control and release management tools.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.
Flexible to extend the work hours based on Project delivery need.

Oracle DBA, Real Application Cluster (RAC), Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM), Performance Tuning
RMAN Backup & Recovery
RAC, Data Guard, ASM, Security & Patching
GoldenGate, Exadata support

Secondary Skills:

Shareplex, Database Migration & Upgrade
Linux & Shell Scripting
Monitoring Tools, Automation and Other Database hands-on (Postgres/Mongo).
