ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for a Remote position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Atlanta, GA. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity. This position is 100% remote. Summary: This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining full stack web applications using Python and React. The ideal candidate will build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, while also deploying and managing applications on the AWS cloud platform. This position requires collaboration with product owners, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Python (or Java) and React
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python or Java
- Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS cloud platform
- Implement cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, and security components
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, and QA teams
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
Requirements: - Doctorate degree OR Master's degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 8 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
- 2-3 years of post-graduation experience
- Strong experience with React and JavaScript
- Proficiency in Python or Java
- Experience with SQL
Pay range: up to $80.73 per hour
