Summary

Description

We are looking for a Programmer Analyst II to support software development and business system needs within a manufacturing environment in New Castle, Pennsylvania. This role combines application development, systems analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver dependable technical solutions that improve daily operations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Microsoft development tools, database technologies, and ERP-related processes, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications using .NET technologies such as C# or Visual Basic within the Visual Studio environment.
Partner with users and internal teams to evaluate operational needs, translate business processes into technical solutions, and recommend improvements that support manufacturing workflows.
Create and support database-driven applications using SQL Server, including writing queries, procedures, and related data management components.
Troubleshoot software issues, analyze root causes, and deliver timely resolutions that maintain application performance and reliability.
Contribute to web-based development efforts and assist with related scripting or automation tasks where needed, including PowerShell-based support activities.
Work with ERP and business system platforms, preferably Infor CloudSuite Industrial or SyteLine, to enhance system functionality and align applications with business requirements.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, program updates, and support materials to promote consistency and long-term system usability.
Provide after-hours support when required and handle sensitive business information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

Detail-oriented experience developing applications with .NET using C# or Visual Basic in Visual Studio.
Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and hands-on ability to support database-related development.
Familiarity with manufacturing business processes and experience supporting ERP or business systems, ideally Infor CloudSuite Industrial or SyteLine.
Understanding of web development concepts and technologies, with ASP.NET and JavaScript experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with SharePoint is an advantage.
Demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability in a technical environment.
Effective communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage priorities independently.
Ability to participate in an on-call support rotation, maintain strict confidentiality, and travel reliably with a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
