We are looking for Quality Analyst (Testing) for our client in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Quality Analyst (Testing)

Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Responsible for analyzing business requirements, developing test plans, and executing testing activities for applications across distributed platforms.
Ensure software quality through detailed validation, data verification, and adherence to the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
Perform testing activities for Java programs on distributed platforms.
Execute test program changes, update test files, run tests, and review results.
Ensure correctness of program changes based on provided requirements.
Work with database technologies to perform queries and data verification.
Utilize testing and tracking tools for defect management and reporting.
Prepare program-level and user-level documentation to support the development lifecycle.
Organize, manage, and guide teams to achieve testing goals within tight deadlines.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure transparency and effective communication.

Skills:

Strong experience with database technologies including Postgres and DB2.
Hands-on experience with test management and tracking tools.
Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle including test case design, execution, integration testing, and deployment.
Ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug software applications.
Strong analytical skills for data validation and reporting.
Experience in preparing comprehensive technical and user documentation.
Excellent communication skills to obtain user sign-off prior to production deployment.
Ability to follow organizational guidelines and procedures for code migration and change management.
Commitment to improving software efficiency and performance.

Should Have:

Knowledge of Java programming.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
Familiarity with document automation tools.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
