Summary

Senior Credit Risk Analyst

6 Months contract – extension

McLean , VA – On-site M-F

Interview Type: onsite required

Must Have Qualifications:

5-7 years of experience with strong skills in data processing, data analytics, and the ability to review and reconcile calculations across multiple systems, including troubleshooting and debugging discrepancies.
Must have experience using python to process datasets and perform analytics.
Background in mortgage, mortgage security, and/or credit risk is strongly preferred.
SAS experience is a plus.

Job Description:

Analytical skills, Excellent quantitative analytical skills
Proven track recording performing tie out between two analytical systems
Strong ability to debug discrepancies end-to-end technical skills
Expert level Python for analytics and data engineering
Working knowledge of Python and SQL
SAS is nice to have Domain expertise
Experience in mortgage credit risk and MBS market risk management Delivery
Able to translate technical findings into clear summaries
Deliver under tight deadlines
