About the Role We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and scale high-performance distributed applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, MQ, and MuleSoft, along with strong experience in cloud-native architecture and CI/CD-driven delivery.
This job will have the following responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Build and integrate event-driven systems using Kafka and MQ
- Develop and support system integrations using MuleSoft
- Apply object-oriented design principles and architectural patterns to enterprise applications
- Write clean, reusable, and testable Java code following best practices
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement automated testing, unit tests, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and security standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications using monitoring tools such as Splunk
Qualifications & Requirements: - 10+ years of hands-on experience in:
- Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
- REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
- Kafka and MQ (event/message-driven systems)
- MuleSoft integration development
- Strong understanding of:
- Object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Java concurrency and multithreading
- JVM internals, class loading mechanism, and performance tuning
- Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems
- Experience working with SQL and both embedded and external databases
Preferred Skills - Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Ant
- Experience with performance monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk)
- Strong understanding of scalable and resilient system design
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers
