Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate and support HL7 standards effectively.
- Manage and maintain EHR and PMS for enhanced performance and robust security.
- Work with diverse teams to gather and document critical business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support for EHR, including updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant security.
- Resolve technical issues and enhance platform performance with developers and administrators.
- Perform essential system updates, patches, backups, and maintenance tasks.
- Offer technical support to end users and coordinate with vendor support teams.
- Assist in training programs for clinical staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze clinical workflows to identify system and process optimization opportunities.
- Generate and analyze reports to aid clinical and administrative decision-making.
- Provide advanced Windows troubleshooting and support for software and cloud platforms.
- Create detailed JIRA tickets for developers and administrators.
- Utilize REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and documentation purposes.
- Ensure IT systems and healthcare data adhere to security best practices and organizational policies.
- Stay updated with the latest healthcare IT technologies and industry trends.
Required / Essential Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience in supporting EHR and PMS within a healthcare setting.
- Proven experience in system implementation, configuration, and support.
- Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and HL7 integrations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and experience with JIRA and ITSM platforms.
- Experience with REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and IT security protocols.
- Experience with cloud-based applications and platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong customer-service and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in hospital IT or complex healthcare systems.
- Strong HL7 integration expertise.
- Experience in networking installation, configuration, and management.
- Proficiency in healthcare EHR integrations and vendor applications.
- Experience collaborating with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
- Willingness to participate in on-call/off-hours support when necessary.
- Experience as a team or project lead.
Entry Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of related supervisory experience, OR
- Associate’s degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role, OR
- Two years of experience at the lower-level IT Enterprise Business Analyst 2 or equivalent position.
