Oracle Taleo Architect

Primary location: NJ

San Antonio and Dallas, TX and Raleigh, NC also desirable location

Responsibilities
Define and lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance Oracle database solutions supporting mission-critical business applications.
Drive database modernization, migration, optimization, and cloud adoption initiatives across on-premises, AWS, and Oracle Cloud environments.
Establish enterprise database standards and best practices for data modeling, SQL/PLSQL development, performance tuning, security, and operational resilience.
Design and oversee high-availability, disaster recovery, and data replication solutions leveraging Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, Exadata, and related technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical leadership, architecture governance, issue resolution, and strategic technology recommendations aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
16+ years of experience in Oracle database architecture, enterprise solution design, performance optimization, and large-scale data platform management.
Deep expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, data modeling, partitioning, indexing, performance tuning, Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and backup/recovery solutions.
Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-based database architectures, database modernization programs, and data integration solutions using technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, and Kafka.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with experience in database security, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and financial services environments; Oracle certifications are a plus.
