The engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications that help discover, catalog, analyze, and rationalize APIs across an enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience building modern web applications and APIs and should have practical experience using AI Agent tools / AI-powered developer tools to improve software development, automation, code analysis, or application workflows.
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
Develop scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
Build responsive and user-friendly React applications, dashboards, and API inventory interfaces.
Develop functionality for API discovery, API inventory, API analysis, and API rationalization.
Integrate with existing APIs, API gateways, repositories, application platforms, and enterprise systems.
Develop capabilities to collect and manage API metadata such as API name, endpoint, owner, version, consumers, dependencies, usage, and lifecycle status.
Build features to identify duplicate, obsolete, unused, or redundant APIs.
Support API consolidation, modernization, deprecation, and retirement recommendations.
Work with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and RESTful APIs.
Develop data processing and analysis workflows to support API discovery and inventory.
Leverage AI Agent tools / Agentic AI / AI-powered developer tools for automation, code analysis, API analysis, documentation, and engineering productivity.
Integrate AI-powered capabilities into application workflows where appropriate.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, debugging, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, API teams, application teams, and other engineers.
Follow secure coding, CI/CD, testing, and modern software engineering practices.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
Strong experience with TypeScript.
Strong experience with React / React.js.
Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
Strong understanding of full-stack application development.
Experience working with API specifications such as OpenAPI / Swagger.
Experience integrating multiple APIs and enterprise applications.
Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
Experience with AI Agent tools, Agentic AI, AI coding assistants, or AI-powered developer tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with API Management platforms such as Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, Azure API Management, or AWS API Gateway.
Experience with API catalogs, API portals, or API governance.
Experience with API discovery, API inventory, API modernization, or API rationalization.
Experience with microservices and cloud-native application development.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, API security, and authentication.
Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
Experience working with LLMs, AI Agents, or agentic development frameworks.
