We are looking for a highly experienced Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kotlin, modern Android development, and mobile application architecture, with a proven track record of building high-quality, scalable Android applications.

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java

• Deep understanding of the Android SDK

• Experience with Android Jetpack Components, including Navigation Component and Room Database

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow

• Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, and JSON parsing using Gson or Moshi

• Experience implementing Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications

• Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger

• Strong understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture

• Experience with Git version control

• Unit testing using JUnit and Mockito

• UI testing using Espresso

• Experience with the Gradle build system

Preferred Skills

• Android Management API

• AWS Chime

• MVI Architecture

• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin.

• Collaborate with Backend, iOS, QA, and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.

• Implement scalable application architectures using MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture principles.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.

• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.

• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code.

• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.

• Ensure application security and compliance with data protection standards.

• Publish, maintain, and support applications on the Google Play Store.

• 7+ years of experience in Android application development.

• Strong expertise in Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.

• Experience developing enterprise-grade mobile applications.

• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
