Join our client\'s team, as a Mech & Robotics Tech, where you will be part of the Operations Maintenance team supporting the repair and upkeep of material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the drive to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, and the motivation to grow alongside a team that values continuous improvement.
Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location:Opa-locka, FL
Pay Range: $25-27/hr.
What\'s the Job?
\t- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures \t
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation \t
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more \t
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment \t
- Track and store department inventory while maintaining a positive working relationship across the facility
What\'s Needed?
\t- High school diploma or equivalent \t
- Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays \t
- 1 year of experience with PC competency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook \t
- Ability to move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation \t
- Possible travel up to 20% at a minimum
