Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise API and integration solutions, translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Drive end-to-end API development and lifecycle management, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, reusable, maintainable, and aligned with established development and architecture standards.
- Guide technical teams through development and implementation activities, provide technical direction and mentoring, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to resolve complex integration requirements.
- Support cloud-native and containerized application environments by overseeing deployments, troubleshooting integration issues, applying development best practices, and coordinating continuous delivery and operational support.
Minimum Qualifications

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
10+ years of experience in software development, enterprise integration, API development, application architecture, and technical solution delivery, including 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise API management platforms.

|

|
API Development, API Management, Enterprise Integration, REST Services, SOAP Services, API Security, Authentication and Authorization, Cloud-Native Development, Kubernetes, Containerization, Microservices, CI/CD, DevOps, Application Architecture, Technical Design, Integration Patterns

Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing APIs using IBM API Connect (APIC) and supporting enterprise API lifecycle management.
- Experience integrating business applications and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP services, including API security with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and TLS.
- Experience delivering APIs and integration services in Kubernetes-based, containerized, cloud-native environments, including Red Hat OpenShift and cloud platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, AWS EKS, and microservices architecture.

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
