Full Time Role - SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) - Only W2 candidates
Location: Sunnyvale, CA -Hybrid / Onsite

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled SDET to join the Walmart engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, software development, and quality engineering practices. You will be responsible for building scalable test frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases, and collaborating closely with development and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications
Write efficient, reusable, and scalable test scripts using Java/Python
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automated test execution
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Analyze test results, debug issues, and work on defect tracking
Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation
Required Skills:
Strong programming experience in Java or Python
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver / Cypress / Playwright
Experience in API automation testing (RestAssured, Karate, etc.)
Knowledge of test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in retail/e-commerce domain (preferred for Walmart)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure)
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
Experience with microservices architecture
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
