Oracle OCI Windows Administrator

Diversified Systems is seeking an Oracle OCI Windows Administrator to support the State of Ohio OCI Migration Team. The selected consultant will provide Windows systems administration and operational support within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments while supporting enterprise migration and modernization initiatives. This role requires deep Windows administration expertise, strong OCI experience, and hands-on knowledge of infrastructure automation and enterprise operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Windows systems administration and operational support.
- Administer Windows servers, including user and group management.
- Perform Windows server configuration, maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows networking.
- Manage and troubleshoot DNS environments.
- Manage local host and name resolution configurations.
- Support domain join and Active Directory integration activities.
- Support Group Policy interactions as applicable.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Ansible and Terraform.
- Diagnose and resolve complex operating system, middleware, networking, and integration issues.
- Support system hardening, stability, and operational excellence across Windows environments.
- Ensure Windows environments follow operational best practices for reliability, security, and performance.
- Support Oracle-hosted infrastructure environments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Windows Administrator required.
- Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required.
- Deep Windows administration experience in enterprise environments required.
- Strong working knowledge of Ansible required.
- Strong working knowledge of Terraform required.
- Experience with Active Directory domain integration required.
- Experience with user and group administration required.
- Experience with Windows networking required.
- Experience with DNS required.
- Experience with host and name resolution configuration required.
- Experience with Windows patching and system maintenance required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required.
Desired Skills:
- Experience designing automated operational workflows for Windows environments preferred.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, alerting, and operational support models preferred.
- Familiarity with high-availability and performance optimization practices for Windows platforms preferred.
- Experience with Windows security hardening in enterprise or regulated environments preferred.
