Lead Front End Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, Dallas, Strongsville, Phoenix, Birmingham
Contract: W2 only
Overview
This position involves leading frontend technical direction and cross micro frontend alignment within a dynamic team. The role requires driving architectural decisions, standards, and best practices across frontend teams, partnering with Product, UX, and Backend to shape requirements, API strategy, and user experience. Candidates with expert-level frontend engineering skills and micro frontend architecture experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities

  • Own frontend technical direction and cross micro frontend alignment.
  • Drive architectural decisions, standards, and best practices across frontend teams.
  • Partner with Product, UX, and Backend to shape requirements, API strategy, and user experience.
  • Own accessibility and UX quality.
  • Set standards for frontend testing, performance, deployment, and operational readiness.
  • Mentor and lead other frontend engineers.
Required Skills
  • Expert-level frontend engineering skills.
  • Architectural experience with micro frontends.
  • Strong API and domain modeling collaboration.
  • Frontend performance, accessibility, and UX leadership.
  • CI/CD, deployment, and environment strategy for frontend platforms.
Preferred Skills
  • Platform-level frontend architecture experience.
  • Cross-team technical leadership.
  • Deep accessibility standards knowledge (WCAG).
  • Strong partnership with DevOps and UX.
