We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Python, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate has open-source contributions to Conda-Forge, experience with the Pixi package manager, and a strong background in DevSecOps and GitOps practices.
Job Details
- Role: Senior DevOps Engineer (Python / CI/CD / GitHub Actions)
- Duration: 24 Months
- Location: Fully Remote (CST/EST candidates only)
- Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Develop Python-based automation and scripting solutions
- Define engineering standards and reusable automation frameworks
- Enable adoption of DevSecOps and GitOps practices
- Build developer tooling and platform automation
- Support open-source and package management ecosystems
Required Skills
- 6+ years of Python development experience
- 6+ years of Python automation/scripting
- 6+ years working with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Open-source contributions to Conda-Forge
- Experience with Pixi Package Manager
- Strong expertise in CI/CD automation frameworks
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DevOps and SRE methodologies
- Knowledge of Python libraries and packaging
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with GitOps practices
- Understanding of DevSecOps security integration
