We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Technical Specialist to provide onsite and remote technical support for enterprise IT operations. This role is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting workstations, network infrastructure, servers, cloud platforms, AV systems, and endpoint devices while ensuring reliable IT service delivery across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Windows/macOS administration, Active Directory or Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, networking, cybersecurity best practices, and enterprise IT support. Responsibilities include resolving hardware/software issues, managing user accounts and security policies, supporting scientific lab technologies, collaborating with IT infrastructure teams, and participating in IT projects and after-hours support rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and endpoints
- Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and enterprise collaboration tools
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPNs, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform), and cybersecurity practices
- Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash is a plus
- Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL frameworks preferred
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or Azure certifications are a plus
