Senior .NET & Database Developer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Architecture Specialist to join our team. This position bridges the gap between complex database reporting and modern .NET web development.

Position Details

• Work Arrangement: Remote (Candidate must reside within a 2-hour driving radius of Harrisburg, PA)
• Work Location: Harrisburg, PA 17101
• Shift: EST (Full-time, 37.5 hours/week)

Key Skills & Technologies Required

To excel in this position, you must have strong hands-on experience in these three core areas:

• Databases & Reporting: SSRS development, SSIS (for ETL), SQL Server (T-SQL), and Oracle (PL/SQL).
• Web Development: .NET Core, MVC, C#, Dependency Injection, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Modern DevOps: Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and managing Power BI service workspaces/deployment pipelines.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop & Optimize: Build and performance-tune complex SSRS reports and database objects across both SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Web App Support: Create and maintain responsive .NET Core MVC web applications.
• Data Architecture: Handle large datasets, perform data modeling, and assist with reporting database solutions.
• Automate Deployments: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage Power BI report deployments across environments.
• Collaborate: Work in an Agile environment with business users to gather requirements and mentor team members on best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of related professional work experience.
• Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study is highly desired.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
