Summary

Responsibilities

Perform hardware configuration activities using HCD, IODF, IOCDS, and IOCP (IOGEN).
Plan, implement, and support IBM Z hardware migrations, upgrades, and production cutovers.
Configure and maintain I/O definitions, processor configurations, and hardware resources.
Support enterprise IBM Z environments with multiple CPCs, LPARs, and Parallel Sysplex configurations.
Administer and maintain IBM Hardware Management Console (HMC).
Troubleshoot hardware, I/O, and z/OS infrastructure issues in production environments.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams during hardware refresh and implementation projects.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of IBM z/OS Systems Programming experience.
Strong hands-on experience with HCD, IODF, IOCDS, and IOCP (IOGEN).
Experience with IBM Z15 and Z16 hardware platforms and migrations.
Strong knowledge of LPARs, CPCs, Parallel Sysplex, and enterprise mainframe environments.
Experience with IBM HMC administration.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
