Summary

Title: EPO Project Manager
Location: Raleigh, NC - 5 days onsite
Duration: Long Term Contract

Role Responsibilities :

  • Plan and coordinate closely with business/function area managers, cross-functional SMEs, and project team members to drive project activities and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with business, operations, and technology leads to support program needs.
  • Ensure project activities remain on track to deliver benefits realization.
  • Implement and manage a risk management plan for the project, ensuring adherence to company and unit requirements.
  • Follow CLIENT PMLC methodology, risk management routines, and project governance activities while working closely with the Risk Program Portfolio Lead and Lead Business partners.
  • Engage stakeholders proactively to understand and mitigate cross-team concerns and lead discussions to resolve issues while maintaining project timelines.
  • Lead internal and/or external project teams and manage resources effectively.
  • Manage project budget forecasts and actuals following finance reporting routines and methodologies.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, analyze variances, and recommend mitigation plans.
  • Prepare dashboard reporting to communicate project health to executives in alignment with governance routines.
  • Prepare documentation and presentations to support workstreams and internal reporting needs.
  • Manage critical path activities and stakeholder coordination to mitigate risks.

Identify change impacts introduced by the project and coordinate readiness activities including:

  • Client Communications
  • Teammate Communications
  • Teammate Training

Must Have Skills / Experience :

  • Experience managing transformational programs/projects within a major financial institution (Category 1 or 2 bank).
  • Proven ability to manage complex programs with multiple business partners and large datasets.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, including working with senior leadership.
  • Experience leading large-scale technology-focused programs with internal and vendor teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and project schedules in parallel.

Nice to Have :

  • Background in Accounting or Finance with experience in GAAP compliance, regulatory reporting, and profitability.

Experience with:

  • SAP S/4 HANA
  • OneStream
  • Oracle EDMCS
  • OFSAA
  • Experience with system testing and UAT planning.
  • Exposure to AI / automation strategy or data strategy initiatives.
  • PMP certification.

Ability to translate stakeholder discussions into strategic plans, project objectives, and delivery schedules
