Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Windows Server Administrator to support a large enterprise server environment. This role is responsible for administering, maintaining, and securing Windows server infrastructure while ensuring high availability, system performance, and operational readiness across critical business systems.
Hybrid (Columbia, SC – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
What You''ll Do
• Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server infrastructure and related hardware
• Monitor server performance, capacity, availability, and system health across enterprise environments
• Perform server installations, upgrades, patching, and configuration management
• Troubleshoot server, hardware, and operating system issues and coordinate resolutions with vendors and internal teams
• Support vulnerability remediation, security patching, audit compliance, and disaster recovery activities
• Maintain backup and recovery processes and participate in incident response efforts
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational standards
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
What You''ll Need
• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Server administration or infrastructure support experience
• Strong experience supporting Windows Server environments and x86 hardware
• Experience with server monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and performance management
• Knowledge of server security, backup, disaster recovery, and vulnerability remediation processes
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills
• Ability to support critical systems in a fast-paced enterprise environment
