Summary

Title: Program Manager - Cybersecurity

Location: Houston, TX (3 days a week onsite)

We are looking for a Senior level Program Manager to manage a portfolio of cyber security projects such as Firewall, End Point Protection, DMZ, and network segmentation. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented with Stage Gate/waterfall PMO process. Needs to be is a highly collaborative person, working closely with IT and Business stakeholders of the Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of cyber security projects such as Firewall, Vulnerability Management, End Point Protection, DMZ, and network segmentation.
  • Program Management includes: Governance, Project Planning, Project Execution and Control, Schedule Management, Stakeholder Communication with IT leadership and Non-IT leadership - Legal, NERC, etc. Status Reporting to Leadership, Risk Analysis, and Risk Management.
  • Manage the Program Management team which includes Project Managers and Test Managers.
  • Manage projects from business case-to-implementation.
  • Project Management includes budget management, resource allocation, kick off meetings, project planning, project execution and control, communication, risk analysis, quality assurance, team and vendor management, and project implementation.
  • Apply waterfall delivery methodologies, standards and tools.
  • Lead end-to-end technical fixes/implementation, including hardware installation, environment setup, production certification, software deployment, integration development, testing and deployment, data management, and vendor technical activities.
  • Perform actual vs. planned analysis at the program level and forecast cost of the program including all the projects that are in this program.
  • Develop program plans/scope/schedule and track progress, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate and attend meetings with various technical and non-technical resources to capture project requirements, identify project milestones, communicate project timelines, track action items, and monitor project status.
  • Identify and manage program risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Program Management experience in large-scale IT environment. Experience managing a portfolio of IT projects.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT Security related projects such as Active Directory, IAM, CyberArk, Okta, DMZ, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with hybrid (waterfall/agile) delivery methodology.
  • Experience in PMO processes and Stage gate processes.
  • Must have experience managing projects using metrics such as ETC, EAC, SPI, and CPI.
  • Must have hands-on experience developing resource loaded schedules.
  • Must have experience managing budget/cost of the project and projecting monthly forecasts.
  • Ability to manage multiple high visibility projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with internal resources and external vendors.
  • Must have good experience identifying and managing risks.
