Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Cloud Security Architect (CISSP Certified)
Location: Deerfield, IL-Onsite
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a technically strong and articulate Google Cloud Platform Cloud Security Architect with an active CISSP certification to design and secure enterprise environments within Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

This role requires hands-on Google Cloud Platform security expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and secure Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environments
Design secure VPC and network architectures
Implement and manage IAM and role-based access controls
Configure security guardrails across multi-project Google Cloud Platform environments
Lead risk assessments and threat modeling initiatives
Support DevSecOps integration and secure CI/CD pipelines
Conduct security reviews and vulnerability assessments
Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Engineering teams
Present security findings and recommendations to leadership

Required Qualifications
Active CISSP Certification (Mandatory)
Up to 5 years of Information Security experience
Up to 5 years of Cloud Security / Cloud Architecture experience
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
Experience working with compliance frameworks including:
NIST
SOC 2
ISO 27001
HIPAA
Strong knowledge of:
Google Cloud Platform IAM
VPC & Network Security
Encryption & Key Management
Security Command Center
Cloud-native security controls
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications
Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
Experience implementing Zero Trust principles
Exposure to DevSecOps automation
