Position Overview
Seeking an enterprise-grade Hogan Systems Mainframe Developer with 8–10 years of experience to anchor core banking applications within a high-volume, 100% on-site production landscape in Charlotte, NC. This engineering role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining core processing software layers built on top of Hogan Banking components and traditional IBM Mainframe database architectures.

Key Responsibilities
* Hogan Core Application Engineering: Design, build, refactor, and maintain complex functional logic inside core Hogan Banking modules, ensuring alignment with downstream clearing and reconciliation steps.
* Mainframe Engineering & Automation: Write, compile, and debug structured, low-latency business code using Mainframe COBOL, automated JCL streams, and transaction messaging structures.
* Database & Transaction Management: Architect and execute data access routines against IBM DB2 and hierarchical IMS structures, managing active execution loops via online CICS screens.
* Deployment & Production Stabilization: Govern package implementations, provide technical diagnostic verification during code cutover windows, and drive post-deployment production stabilization phases.
* Banking Domain Standard Compliance: Ensure all platform deliverables are built securely and accurately to remain strictly compliant with global core banking compliance rules and auditing regulations.
* Agile Sprint Collaboration: Engage actively in cross-functional Agile team cadences, collaborating with product owners, technical leads, and QA specialists to deliver high-quality code features.

Required Skillset
* Experience: 8–10 years of professional software development experience working inside core banking platforms or large financial services infrastructures.
* Hogan Core Knowledge: Proven technical familiarity and development experience inside any of the specialized Hogan Systems modules:
* Integrated Deposits System (IDS)
* Customer Information System (CIS)
* Relationship Product Management (RPM)
* Integrated Loans Processing (ILP)
* Online Delivery System (ODS)
* Client Knowledge frameworks

Fine to Have
* IBM Mainframe Development Stack: Complete hands-on programming expertise with Mainframe COBOL, JCL scripting, IMS database layers, relational DB2 schemas, and online CICS transaction processing.
* Financial Domain Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of corporate accounting, deposit lifecycles, clearing rules, and general ledger configurations typical within retail banking platforms.
