IT Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking an IT Business Analyst.

Job Responsibilities:
* Facilitate definition of scope and objectives based on business needs and cross-system impacts
* Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements and recommend innovative solutions
* Support planning and coordination of business solutions in alignment with organizational strategies Develop and manage relationships with business, internal and external IT partners to provide technology-based solutions to business needs
* Perform intermediate level analysis to creatively solve problems
* Support development, QA and UAT activities to validate that solutions meet business and cross-system requirements
* Identify application risks, impacts, options and recommendations for mitigation
* Create and maintain process flows, high-level system interaction diagrams, and end-to-end workflow documentation
* Maintain advanced level technical and functional awareness and competence of support business applications and organizational and industry technology standards
* Capable of acting as a liaison by relating business issues to internal and external ITS partners, and relating technology solutions to business customers
* Lead requirements elicitation sessions with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, architecture, and business teams
* Identify and document dependencies, data flows, and integration points across multiple systems
* Analyze end-to-end processes to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for improvement across systems and teams

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience in an IT environment performing business and technical analysis across multiple systems and teams This role is intended for a Technical Business Analyst who operates across multiple systems and teams to define and align requirements
* Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives across multiple systems and stakeholder groups
* Strong capability in end-to-end process and requirements alignment
* Advanced knowledge of business processes for supported business groups
* Advanced knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
* Strong working knowledge of multiple systems and platforms and how they interact within the enterprise environment's core business functions
* Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, FFIEC, etc.)
* Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and best practices
* Knowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions
* Significant experience in a large and complex business environment
* Ability to work across multiple applications and technology teams (not limited to a single system) Working knowledge of the consumer loan business
* Strong in the use of MS Office software including strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes
* Experience with SQL
* Ability to meet expected deadlines and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives
* Experience with data visualization concepts and tools
* Must be a self-starter and able to manage the investigations function with minimal supervision
* Strong requirements elicitation and facilitation skills across both business and technical stakeholders
* Ability to understand and document data flows, integrations, and cross-system dependencies without owning detailed technical design

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
