They are continuing to invest in VDC/BIM and construction technology, and are looking for a VDC Manager to lead these efforts across multiple projects. The VDC Manager will lead and oversee all Virtual Design & Construction efforts, combining technical expertise with leadership to drive coordination, improve workflows, and support project execution from preconstruction through completion.

This role serves as a key liaison between project teams, designers, subcontractors, and leadership, while mentoring internal VDC staff and advancing technology adoption across the organization.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage VDC/BIM workflows, standards, and processes
• Lead BIM coordination efforts across multiple complex projects
• Mentor and manage VDC Engineers and Project Engineers
• Drive constructability reviews and design coordination
• Support estimating with model-based takeoffs and visualization
• Oversee 3D modeling, QA/QC, and model accuracy
• Create and guide 4D scheduling, site logistics models, and visualizations
• Manage laser scanning and point cloud integration
• Train internal teams on VDC tools and best practices
• Research and implement emerging construction technologies

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, design, or VDC/BIM
• Proven leadership experience managing VDC teams and coordination efforts
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp
• Experience with MEP coordination and multidisciplinary projects
• Strong understanding of construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
